PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUES COMMUNITY GUIDANCE AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR COVID-19 (shared from our Public Communications Officer Matthew Davis)


The Department of Health and Social Services, Public Health division, in coordination with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the California Department of Public Health has just released a “Current Guidance and Recommendations for the Community” document regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19).  The document provides guidance and suggestions for vulnerable populations and social distancing.  You can read the document in ENGLISH and in SPANISH on the County’s H&SS PH website.

Additionally, some of our neighboring Sacramento / Bay Area Counties have also publicly released social guidelines for their communities based on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, including San Francisco County, Yolo / Placer Counties, Marin County, Contra Costa County and Alameda County
